We at Dew Drops Academy believe in the absolute joy of learning.

Yes, you read that right! Once someone asked us, who is the best teacher is in our environment. Undoubtedly, it is our children. They are the best teachers in our environment. Most of the learning happens through research, discussion, and questioning.

We have adopted the Montessori Philosophy of Teaching Education, where our children own everything in our Environment. It is exactly like a community, where children of different ages work together in an atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation.

Both my children are in Dew Drops. My elder son joined at the age of 3.5 years and is in 8th Grade now. He was in one of the most popular schools of R.R.Nagar for a month before we decided to move him to Dew Drops.  We had in the first place, admitted him in that popular school because most parents gave a review that the school was very good.  But it was only after he started going there, did we come to know what parents meant by a “good” school – Big building, large playground (though the kids may be rarely allowed to play freely there), smiling faculty and the ability to train the kids to get into one of the main streams. However, the expectation my husband and I, as parents, had from education system was very different and hence, very rare to come by in educational institutes -  (1) Allow the children to be free thinkers; (2) teach them how to learn, rather than just learn the almighty syllabus; (3) Guide the child to grow at a spiritual level, rather than use “overall development” as a bait to impress parents.
We were fortunate enough to find Dew Drops, as it ticks all our check boxes, and much more.  There’s so much more than what meets the eye in the system they follow.  In a recent experience, this became evident to us.
Our elder son, during his summer vacation, attended a month-long program on logical reasoning. These sessions were meant for 9th and 10th Grade children as it was based on mathematical concepts taught in those grades. However, our son was yet to enter the 8th Grade; but we anyway signed him up for it on a trial basis as he was interested to attend. At the end of the session, the feedback we got from the people conducting the sessions was “He just blew us off with his skills.  He was the only one who was this young, but he outperformed the rest.  It wasn’t just about how many questions he solved, it was more to do with how he solved it – his approach was very unique. While most of the other kids in the session would say things like the questions were out of syllabus, he never uttered those words, but just went for it without any inhibitions”.  Thank you Dew Drops for letting my child blossom into this wonderful person he is today.
My sincere advice to parents who are looking for schools for their kids – Dew Drops is not meant for you if:
(1)	completion of a particular syllabus is important to you rather than enabling your child to obtain unlimited knowledge;
(2)	you are a person who equates fees only to tangible stuffs like large campus, posh building and huge playground;
(3)	you are a person who is happy with school faculty that utters only those words which parents want to listen (rather than what the parents really need to know) and aren’t really concerned about the true intent of the faculty;
(4)	you are a person who does not have the patience nor the courage to wait for your child to progress, instead wants time-bound pre-planned path laid out for your child’s academics alone.

One of the finest school in Bengaluru. Founder of the school are true follower of Montessori education and school environment is very lively. School has highly qualified and passionate adults.
